[...] Lee, who represented the party in Kayveas' absence - the president is currently in the United States - claimed that no discussion of the issue had occurred in the BN supreme council meeting on Tuesday.
"The PM's statement was nothing more than a mere reply to the media on PPP's choice to leave as he has no plans to amend the ISA. He never asked PPP to leave BN," Lee said.
"Therefore, PPP will cross the bridge when we come to it," he added.
Lee was further quizzed on why it insisted on staying if Abdullah had asserted that he would not amend the ISA.
"We will still urge and not give up yet. We see some changes such as the Bills tabled yesterday," he said referring to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission and Judicial Appointments Commission bills.
"This has also led to the BN convention which is to gather ideas and suggestions from component parties," he added, referring to the February summit.[read more]
