In the thick of furious campaigning in the Kuala Terengganu by-election, Umno’s official website has been compromised by a security breach on its host server.While reports of development plans and oil royalties in Terengganu dominate the webpage when viewed via browsers such as Internet Explorer, Opera and Safari, attempts to load www.umno-online.com on Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome returned warning pages of possible malicious software located on the website.
Both Firefox and Chrome make the website unavailable but offer to redirect to a Google Safe Browsing diagnostic page.
According to Google, www.umno-online.com is considered “suspicious - visiting this web site may harm your computer". [read more]
