KLANG: A number of under-performing councillors in Selangor may be dropped even before their one-year contracts are up by the middle of the year.
The Selangor government had started to assess their performance from last week, said local government, study and research committee chairman Ronnie Liu.
“Some of them will be asked to leave, but I can’t give the exact figures now,” he said during the Jade Emperor’s birthday celebration at Pandamaran, here, yesterday. [read more]
